Yolande Sowerby, a member of the LMBRU PPI Group, was selected from 75,000 volunteers working for Age UK to receive the UK Joint Top Award for Community Volunteer 2014. As well as teaching Tai Chi for Age UK, Yolande has also been fund-raising for the charity. She received her award in London where there were celebrity guests including actress June Whitfield.
