Professor Paul Emery has recently been identified as Europe’s most highly cited rheumatologist, according to Web of Science statistics. The data, published in Lab Times on Line, collected data between 1997 and 2008. Leeds was the most highly cited UK institution, ranking second across Europe in the overall in the metrics.
